Funny now that Sully is in Florida, the hurricanes are steering northward (for now anyway). It looks like the guys on the upper East Coast are scrambling to prepare for EARL. Did you really think you would be safer in Florida for hurricane season, Sully? Is SanderO up in the danger zone? Good luck up there, guys!

So now I am confused. I thought after sailing the Bahamas, it would be cool to go up the east coast for hurricane season. Guess not?

Duck OBX on the night of August 11 2010, we are inside watching tv when we hear strange sound coming from beach. We go outside to see red light in sky going up and down rapidly. Realizing it was a sailboat, I take to the shore to help with my Mag light. Donna Lange spent the night on the shore in her sailboat, and the next morning a crowd of people gathered to help and take pictures. Turns out Donna Lange is quite a sailor and I am so glad she is back to sea!

The above is from one of her rescuers. Thumbs up to those who helped Ms. Lange. Way cheaper than Sea Tow!!! :thumb:

Who is Donna Lange? http://www.donnalange.com/home.html I believe Kai Nui had mentioned her name in regards to the Haiti aftermath?
