Brent Sorry...I guess what I was asking is if this is a glued back book either paper back or hard back or is it 100 pages stapled togather or in a three ring binder.

Softcover
You could buy it here :

Origami Metal Boatbuilding--A Heretic's Guide by Swain, Brent

I would buy it directly from Brent and cut out the middleman.

It's 8/1/2 by 11 paperback, stapled , the toughest binding I've found so far, about 125 pages.

The resulting hulls are totally fair ,without any fillers of any kind and are almost indistinguishable from round bilged hulls in the water. There have been roughly 200 built, and have done everything from several circumnavigations to a single season passage thru the NW Passage . They are some of the most well proven boats out there .
My book also has a lot of valuable info for anyone in any kind of cruising boat, from building your own 540 gallon per day watermaker, to building your own roller furler for under $200, to building your own anchor winch for under $50 to building your own sheet blocks for under two dollars , to building aliminium hatches , self steering , inside steering, mast and rigging, $24, 100 amp DC welder, woodstove, etc etc. I tried to include enough info to make the book worth many times it's price to any cruiser.
For a copy, please send $20 plus $5 for Canadian postage , $7 for US postage . or $12 for overseas airmail postage to 3798 Laurel Dr, Royston BC Canada V0R2V0. Send an extra $5 for the Spanish version.

I don't do paypal ,as I'm usually out cruising and thus have no way of finding out if payment has been made into my account.I get the addresses of orders by phone. Cash in Aussie equivalent, or an international postal money order are OK

Pitty about you not having a paypal account but no biggie.
I take-it, with you residing in Canada, that the $32 is Canadian dollars, is that so?
If so, I'll take care of it tomorrow when I go to the bank.
I'm guessing it will take a month or more before I get my hands on your book...If it dosent go missing in the post!

$20 for the book and $14 for postage comes to $34. The Canadian dollar is almost par with the US$, and may soon be worth more than the US$. US$27 comes to CDN $27.35

G'day Brent,

Guess you posted the wrong postage rate when you first informed people about your book, your original post did state $12 for International post.
So I was going by $20 for your book + $12 International postage = $32.

Please let me know if it's $12 or $14 for International postage, I do want a copy of your book and have no wish to have you pay for the postage.

Cheers mate,

Bill

Postage has gone up, and will soon go up again. $14 is OK at the moment, but may rise after today. I'll send it for what you a sent me, if you have already sent $32.
