Saw this ad' at the CF. Thought you might be interested.
Gulfstar Hirsh 45' fixer upper - $17,000 This 45 foot sailboat was tossed ashore in hurricane Gustav and has suffered superficial damage. Having restored one of these boats myself, I think $17K would be fair if she had a mast and working Perkins engine. Otherwise... not so sure. Always do the math on these things. I have found a few boats in my time that I thought would be great deals, only to do the math out and realize they would have to pay me a few thousand dollars to make the boat workable.
